Hello, dear reader, I hope you’re having a good day. I’m not being paid to write this blog, and it contains information based on my opinions from playing Snoopy Pop on iOS. Snoopy Pop is rated 4+ on the App Store and is 202 MB. Snoopy Pop is a bubble popping game where you match at least 3 bubbles in order to pop them. The goal is to save every Woodstock or Beagle Scout you can with the number of bubbles given. The only issue for parents is to determine if In-App payments are on because there are some in-app payments for in-game currency. The game’s currency gives you more bubbles, upgrades item chests for Collections, adds time to Scavenger Hunts, and provides power-ups. The pop-ups for buying currency don’t really appear until after stage 17.
Review:
Snoopy Pop is a free-to-play bubble popping game available on iOS and Android with hundreds of levels and Peanuts references. It doesn’t require an internet connection so you can play to your heart’s content and save the birds! The game has in-app purchases which allow you to get more bubbles to finish levels or unlock special powers like Charlie Brown’s Kite or Lucy’s Jump Rope. For the beginning levels, you really don’t need any extra help. The game starts getting difficult at level 26. I guess it’s appropriate the Beagle Scouts are in more trouble. The game holds your hand as you learn to play. After stage 17 you’ll see the Scavenger Hunt page is available. It allows you to gain items for Collections which will grant you unlimited life power-ups and a Peanuts scene. I’ve played the game off and on for several weeks and enjoyed it. It’s not my usual pick for a game. Snoopy Pop is so charmingly well-made I’ll make an exception and keep it around.
Time: You can play Snoopy Pop for an unlimited amount of time unless you run out of five hearts and don’t use the unlimited lives power-up from the collections. It takes 26 minutes for each heart to recharge. I’ve played the game around three hours or so (that I remember) and have reached level 27. I don’t want to get tired of the game so I’ve spaced out my playing sessions. It’s not every day a Sopwith Camel can tackle the Red Baron after all!
Pros and Cons: Snoopy Pop has animated Peanuts characters which are quite fun to watch if you share my nostalgia. The music is fun, upbeat and keeps your time in the game feeling bright. The story is simple. Snoopy is saving the Beagle Scouts from a ballooning accident. Thank goodness no open flames were involved! Don’t play Snoopy Pop if you want to partake in an epic saga or violent action. The developers deliver fine-tuned levels, abilities, and Peanuts references to keep fans and new players alike entertained. The only con I can think of is the pop-up for in-app payments occasionally appearing when you log in or move stages.
Overall Impression: If you love bubble popping games, Peanuts, and want a free wireless game to play and pass time with, you’ll enjoy Snoopy Pop. Seriously, everyone will probably enjoy this game. If you hate free-to-play games, the ability to play wirelessly or you want a multiplayer experience, then Snoopy Pop isn’t for you. It also isn’t for you if you want to see the lamentations of your foes. Unless the sounds of balloons popping counts!

Tips:
- Think twice before using Charlie Brown’s Kite or another super - Once you’ve activated the super it must be used. Thankfully, you can swap which bubble you use up as the super. If you see red orbs above the position you’re aiming for with your super, then try to use a green orb for your super instead of that nice red one.
- Logging out of the game or closing it will destroy a heart if you had a level open - Snoopy Pop’s levels will let you exit the app and return, as long as you don’t close out the app! Quitting a level before any balloons are thrown is fine and won’t take any hearts.
- You can re-think a launch by dragging your finger back to Snoopy and the bubble– If you decide you don’t want the red bubble you’re about to launch to fly through the air, then bring your finger back down to earth and Snoopy.
- There’s always a Scavenger Hunt quest – When you complete all 3 hunts then the next 3 will unlock, but the timer will stay the same! If you’re comfortable with an old level, you can replay it and finish Scavenger Hunts. It’s easy to find what you’re looking for when you’ve seen it already.
- The Red Baron can be hit before all balloons or bubbles are popped – One trick is to clear a single path to the Red Baron, then time your throw for when the pattern pulls him into your path. It’ll move the Red Baron into the next phase.
- Launch Lucy’s Rope as far as you can, even off-screen for results - Exploring the map will let you gain a few freebie gems and treasure chests, and valuable stat boosts from defeating monsters. Fight skeletons first since they’re the weakest enemies. Go to shops last since they can heal you before boss battles.
- The Lucy-Charlie Brown Super Combo has some stuff to consider- The combination power adds a second layer to Lucy’s rope. It also puts the ropes below the middle row of Charlie’s kite. Keep these things in mind when using both powers.
