Hello, dear reader, I hope you’re doing well. I’m working on developing a WordPress version of the site with another host. The future of the Lunar Nebula LLC website is still uncertain in terms of its location, but this post is proof it’s not done. I’m currently trying out A2 hosting. I’m learning as I go with WordPress, yet I see a lot of potential with it as the website’s CMS.
One thing I’ve learned is the importance of plug-ins to WordPress. Without the plug-in Content Views, I think I would’ve formed an ulcer trying to link blog posts to specific pages. Thankfully, there is a thriving community of WordPress developers and users. As my frustration mounted, I turned to Google for help. Tech Savvy Guy on YouTube had a tutorial for using the content views plug-in, and saved me from my confusion.
When searching for help creating a website make sure to filter results by date. One WordPress tutorial from a year ago received over a million views, was mildly helpful, yet showed an outdated version of the CMS. Even tutorials from the beginning of 2016 can be perplexing to watch due to WordPress updating since the video’s creation.
For now, I’m still working out the details on lunarnebula.com, and so I will still be posting here to the lunar nebula.weebly.com pages which house the original Weebly site.
Thanks for your patience, dear reader! Once again, helpful comments are appreciated. Have a good day, dear reader.
