Hello, dear reader, I hope you’re doing well. I’m currently evaluating the future of the Lunar Nebula LLC website and what needs to be done to make it even better. There is a key feature that I would like to have available in the future: archived pages with links between posts. Right now you either have to click the previous page button 16 times to reach the first blog post, or click the link I set up for the first post which will then separate you from any of the future posts. I’ve been researching how to make Weebly work with my vision, and so far I haven’t found any good answers.
I am once again looking into blue host and other companies for hosting this website. If anyone has helpful suggestions please leave them in the comments below. I am definitely going to go with a host that can use WordPress, and I would appreciate being able to back-up the website. Speed is a plus, but is less important than reliability, or uptime, for the site.
I am sad to say Weebly has not continued its fast customer support, and it is extremely difficult to find developers that work on site functionality beyond visual aesthetics. Weebly is wonderful for showcasing products, and having individual pages which are unrelated to one another. It lacks a good archival system and convenient links between blog pages in large archives. I would have to recommend to anyone searching for more than a simple website, or portfolio, look to other hosts after spending several months with Weebly.
I hope this helps anyone currently searching for a website provider or host. I believe Weebly will make changes in the future and will continue to update its services, but I need more functionality for the website now. Once again, helpful comments are appreciated. Have a good day, dear reader!
